Why is the price so much lower than AAA?
Two reasons. First, we're a local San Diego company without a national overhead footprint — no regional offices, no corporate marketing budget pulling from each membership dollar. Second, we don't bundle services you might never use (trip planning, hotel discounts, travel insurance). You're paying for the actual roadside service, dispatch, and a small operations team. That's it.
How many service calls can I make in a year?
Unlimited at the member rate. Most members average 1–2 calls per year; the heaviest users we have call 6–8 times. There's no annual cap and no per-call billing — just the flat $55 callout fee per visit. We do flag patterns of repeat calls for the same recurring issue (e.g., a battery that keeps dying) so we can suggest a permanent fix rather than another jump start.
What's not included in membership?
Long-distance towing (over 10 miles), parts replacement (a new battery or tire is billed separately), heavy-duty winch-out from off-road or accident scenes, and any service requested outside our San Diego County coverage area. Everything else falls under the standard $55 callout.
